As an Educator, one of the things I teach is Music Appreciation. It’s an elective class, but it may be one of my favorites for two reasons: 

1) I’m a history junkie (thanks, dad) and Music Appreciation brings two of my favorite things together.

2) Because I get to interact with students from all walks of life, pour some music knowledge into them, and learn from them as well. 

I try to keep things light and fun, with insight into music starting literally from zero all the way up to the 21st century.

This page is under construction at the moment, but will eventually have links to the information I share in my class, as well as articles and videos I find interesting. I do have a YouTube channel specifically dedicated to teaching videos that I use: DonnaK_Music if you’re curious.
